Immersive technologies, such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), have become popular to improve the customer experience for many businesses. Education needs to prepare students to become comfortable with this technology from a business’ perspective. As immersive technologies have become more prevalent in the K-12 setting, college students may anticipate their use in college classes as well. This paper presents the findings from a pilot study of students’ use and perceptions of introducing an AR activity that simulates a job fair setting in business classes.
